Umm, just kidding. We're really hoping you didn't fall for that. Obviously a lot of other PDR companies hope you do. Paintless dent repair is incredibly hard to photograph, so the easiest way some people can get their point across is bogus before-and-after shots - reversing them, maybe? We don't know for sure. We do know that metal is flexible, but paint absolutely is not. Many pictures we see on the Internet of alleged PDR show cars with really dry paint that would positively crack before the dent came out. We've also seen pictures showing repairs of dents that were right over braces. In our 20 years of experience, we've learned where braces are, and we've also learned that those dents can't be removed because the braces block access to the back of the dent.
We think the best way for you to see the actual results is to visit us for a free paintless dent repair demonstration. But for you purists out there, here's our legitimate attempt to show you our results - you'll just have to take us at our word!
The picture directly above is obviously the before shot. This shows why lighting is so important to the process of paintless dent repair. See how the reflection of the fluorescent lights bends around the dent?
The two pictures on the right are after Michael's repair. It's not a perfect fix, as you can see, but that was a pretty big dent. These pictures also show why pictures of PDR can be deceiving - from the angle and lighting, it's almost impossible to tell that the dent didn't come all the way out. It didn't. This vehicle was a no-charge.
